ABOUT
Our Urban Summer Series is an entry-level program created to inspire the interest of the youth from ages 13-17, in the genres of Hip Hop and R&B songwriting, stage presence, acting, and filmmaking.
Our Mission
Our social and emotional learning goals include students learning their identity and how to complete artistic production in intentional collaborative ways; learning the structure of songwriting, offer and accept creative critique; developing a sense of confidence while gaining exposure in the arts.
This summer our students will work together in groups to produce songs that they will record and perform on the last day of this series.
